Goodbye Summer, Hello Spookiness

Well folks, it's official: Summer is over.

After a week of summer-adjacent weather in October, mother nature decided to flick the switch and drop it down to 12° for us to enjoy. Personally, I enjoy the fall airsoft season. The ability to bundle up, not die of heat exhaustion, and my personal favorite bit: Halloween.

While we don't quite have the budget to drop on Halloween decorations to decorate the field with this year, we have something I've been looking forward to for a long time: Our first ever costume contest!

We'll be hosting a day of games on October 29th, essentially acting as our season closer (at least the end of our weekly game schedule). This means that a ticket will include admission to the Farm for the day, raffle tickets for our end-of-day prize draw, and a grand prize for our costume contest winner! I'll take this opportunity to remind you that, for airsoft, a "military guy" does not count as a costume. We want to see Master Chiefs, T-Rexes, and clowns out shooting guns at each other all day.

Another important date to keep in mind is our second pistols, shotguns, and bolt-actions only day! This will be on Sunday October 22nd, a week before the costume contest. Last P/S/B went so well last time that we couldn't help but host another one. The lack of 250-round midcap spam, combined with the mobility pistols provide, gave us some INSANE plays throughout the day. If you weren't there for pistols-only Capture the Flag or TTT, be there next time to witness the chaos.

So to sum it all up: 

- October 22nd, our second Pistols, Shotguns, and Bolt actions only day!

- October 29th, our Costume Contest!

- November 4th & 5th, we are CLOSED. This will mark the start of our Bi-weekly open-play schedule. We are always open for private games of 15+ players, so reach out to me at Drew@airsoftassault.ca if you have any questions regarding that
